Altenew - Beautiful Day

Hi everyone!

In todays card I used the Mini Misti (which i am absolutely obsessed with) with Altenew's Beautiful Day Stamp Set.

If there would be one tool I would highly recommend it would be the Misti. Yes you can do the same thing with your acrylic blocks...but lets be honest, how many of us have ruined a card by stamping something crooked or splotchy. The Misti makes it pretty much impossible to get a dodgy stamp..so for me, its pretty amazing.

I love the Beautiful Day stamp set from Altenew. I did have to fussy cut the flower and leaves for this card as i didn't have the coordinating dies, but they are on my to buy list :)

The vellum is from Stampin Up - Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum Stack & the patterned paper is American Crafts Dreamy Days 12 x 12 single sheet.

To finish off this card i used the Pretty Pink Posh 4mm & 6mm clear sequins.

I hope you enjoyed today's card. Be sure to check out the links below for all the products used in this card.

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy crafting :)

Supplies Used

Stampin Up Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum Stack - not sure where i bought it but any black and white stripe patterned paper will work (Avery Elle, MFT, Lawn Fawn, etc sell similar patterns)
American Crafts Dreamy Days 12 x 12 patterned paper

Sharing Handmade Kindness

Today I created a pack for a friend for Jennifer McGuirres sharing handmade kindness month. I used the Simon Says Stamp flowers on my mind & happy everyday stamp sets.

I used Jennifer Mcguirres technique with the prisma white pencil and a white gel pen to create this background! I then heat embossed with White Hero Arts embossing powder onto some cardstock vellum! Using me tiny attacher from stampin up I stapled the vellum to the background piece!

This is a great card to do in bulk as you can do it one step at a time!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Happy crafting :)

Watercolour: thinking of you

Hi crafty friends,

For this blog Challenege I decided to go simple! This card would be perfect to do in bulk as its quite simple! All I did was use my watercolour paper, some distress inks (abandoned coral, worn lipstick & picked raspberry) and some perfect pearls to create a watercoloured background! I then used my stampin up hearts framelits to cut a heart out of my watercolour piece!

Popping this heart up on some whisper white cardstock backed on a calypso coral card base!

And that's it!

Other supplies

Pretty pink posh 4mm & 6mm clear sequins
Simon says stamp banner sayings
Ranger Clear Embossing Powder (over the sentiment)
Versafine Onyx Black Ink

Simon says stamp: Monday Blog Challenge

Hi all,

Today's blog post will be entered into the Simon Says Stamp Monday Blog Challenge!!

This card is actually super simple.

I used the Poinsettias Inspired by Stamping stamp set, versa mark ink and my new Hero Arts White Embossing Powder to stamp this gorgeous background! I then used Barn Door, Fired Brick & Aged Mahogany distress inks to create this background. I used the lightest colour first (barn door) and covered the whole page. I then used the other 2 darker colours to pull from the edges. I then stamped the wplus9 Festive Greetings happy holidays sentiment in Stampin Up Mossy Meadow!

And that's it! Like I said it's really quite a simple card :)

Thanks for stopping by...I hope to see you again soon!

Happy crafting :)

Hi all...today's post will be entered into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday's Blog Challenge - Wrap it up!

Using WRMK Box Punch Board and Kraft patterned paper I found at a local craft store I created this adorable 4x4 inch box!

I then used some black and white twine to wrap up my box and also attach the tag I made!

For the tag I used stampin up whisper white cardstock, some patterned paper scraps from my scrap bin and the Altenew Birthday greetings stamp Set!

I hope you enjoyed today's blog post and I hope you stop by again soon :)

Simon Says Stamp: Monday Blog Challenge

Hi All,

Todays card post will be entered into the Simon Says Stamp Monday Blog Challenge - Wonderful Watercolour.

a

To make this card I used some watercolour paper and peerless watercolours. I added a layer of colour onto the paper, then set it to dry. Once it had dried I then went back with a second layer of colour to create a more intense background. Once the second layer was dried I added a polka dot stencil (made with my Silhouette Cameo machine) and used a baby wipe to dab away some the colour.

Using my Silhouette Cameo Machine I cut out the work Merry in silver foil cardstock and 4 layers of white card stock to add some dimension.

Adding the word Christmas stamped onto some white cardstock and sequins this card was done!!

Other supplies used

Simon Says Stamp Holiday Hellos
Lawn Fawn Black Licorice Ink Pad
Simon Says Stamp 120lb White Cardstock - Card Base
Stampin Up Whisper White Cardstock
Tombow Mono Adhesive
Stampin Dimensionals
